Product Description

Turn the ASIAIR you have into the ASIAIR PRO!

Send back your ASIAIR to us or your ZWO dealer, and get the ASIAIR PRO for $199 only (regular price $299).

To trade in the ASIAIR, you should send the following items back to us or your ZWO dealer:

  • ASIAIR Body(includes the Raspberry Pi 3B+ board inside & SD card.)
  • 12V-5V DC Converter
  • USB-RS232 Cable

Note: The ASIAIR must be still working.

How to do?

  • Make an order
  • If your DC converter or Cable is missing, please email us to find a solution(our email address: info@zwoptical.com)
  • Instructions of sending back the relevant items will follow upon receipt of your Trade In order.
  • Send back your ASIAIR body, 12V-5V DC Converter, and USB RS232 Cable with shipping fee afforded by you.
    (Please leave a note in the package with regards to the order number of ASIAIR trade-in so that we can arrange the shipment in accordance.)
    After we receive the eligible device, We will arrange NEW ASIAIR PRO for you.
  • The trade-in policy will be available until the end of March 2020.

What’s the ASIAIR PRO?

ASIAIR PRO is a smart WiFi device. It is equipped with a lightweight power management module, ample USB interfaces, and multiple dovetail mounting methods. With the rich features of the ASIAIR App, the whole procedure from device integration to image capture runs particularly smooth.

ASIAIR PRO is the second generation of ZWO that has been continuously improved and newly designed since the first generation of ASIAIR was released in July 2018.

Before first usage of this product read Manuals and install correct Drivers and Software.

Shipping

It will take around 60-90 days for shipment via ePacket/China Post Registered Air Mail/EMS, which can’t be guaranteed due to force majeure.

Introduction

  1. Fast Shipping: we will choose DHL, UPS, FedEx etc to deliver it. Usually you will get your package within one month.

Tax

  • The price list on our website is USD without tax.
  • Please note that buyers are liable to pay tax involved, such as Import tax, VAT , customs handling fee, etc. The additional fees may be collected at time of delivery by courier.
  • For best local service we advise customers buy our cameras form local dealers.

Warranty and Return Policy

  • We provide 2-year warranty for our products, we will offer the repair service for free within warranty period. After the warranty period, we will continue to provide repair support and service on a charged basis. We do not provide any replacement unless ZWO confirmed the product is DOA (Dead On Arrival).
  • This warranty does not apply to damage that occurred as a result of abuse or misuse, or caused by a fall or any other transportation failures after purchase.
  • Customer must pay for shipping when shipping the camera back for repair or replacement. If we confirm you can get a replacement, goods must be returned with all accessories, instructions, etc and must be suitably packed.
  • If you get a faulty camera, please contact us as soon as possible though email: info@zwoptical.com. Please describe the problem in detail and we will do our best to help you solve the problem. Most instances perceived problems are simply bad driver install or software configuration.
  • We will provide you RMA number if your camera requires warranty repair. We refuse any return without RMA number!
  • For customers who bought the camera from our dealer, dealer is responsible for the customer service for you.

    Hello,asiair since 2019 to control a big mount into an observatory with a T380mm telescope.
    The mount is controlled with astroelectronic FS2.
    At the begining asiair controlled corectly the mount. It was possible to use autoguiding without problem.

    Last year, I inform to you that since an update on asiair with a new version, it was impossible to control the mount. Autoguiding didn’t work !
    The only solution I found was to connect with « ST4 mount on camera ».

    Today, there were many update on asiair and it is always impossible to control correctly the FS2 with asiair like in the past !!!
    The connection work but if I use the Goto, the mount don’t go to the good place. The plate solving don’t work with FS2. And it is the same problem for autoguiding !

    I saw on the facebook acount zwo that other person have this problem. The answer of Zwo is : Post your request on INDI forum ! But the proble is not INDI library… it was work in the past with the first version.

    Please can you give us a solution to control our mount correctly with FS2 astroelectronic and obtain platesolving and autoguiding because It work at the begining and even if the FS2 is not used by few custumer, we are costumer from ZWO and the problem appears after your update’

    I hope you will answers to me. Last year you haven’t answer to me to my request.

      Yes please send the ASIAIR with its accessories back. The first small batch of ASIAIR PRO will be available around the middle of Jan., 2020, more will be available around the end of Feb., 2020.
