How long do you estimate the back order for 7 position 2″ EFW?
I prefer to order direct because I read on Cloudy Nights about a recent firmware and ASCOM driver release to address certain issues with repeated unidirectional filter changes. Do you recognize what I am referring to, and will EFW’s shipping for new orders address the issue? Thank you.

    Hello I bought 1) ZWO ASI2600mc pro camera and 2) ZWO EFW (5 x 2″).
But I am unable to connect the asi2600 camera to the 5 x 2″ EFW filter wheel as appropriate adopter is not supplied with neither the camera nor with the EFW filter wheel.
Also I noticed if I want to hook the ASI2600 with 5 X2″ EFW filter wheel with the screws supplied by EFW, the holes don’t match.
Could you please help me with this problem please? I need to know if there is an adopter I can buy to hook up asi2600 with 5 X 2″ EFW filter wheel.

    Hello,
I have a problem with the 7×2 “filter wheel and the ASI6200MMC:
If I create a plan with filter change in APT and the filter change is to take place, the recording starts immediately while the filter wheel is still rotating. The subsequent download of the picture remains at “Busy”, but no download is possible! The filter wheel also no longer rotates. To do this, I first have to disconnect the filter wheel and then reconnect it.
I have already reported this behavior to APT. Unfortunately APT couldn’t help me.
Has this error already occurred with other users, or is there already a solution for it?
The newest drivers (ASCOM, etc.) are installed.
    Best wishes
    Dieter

The back focus is depend on your telescope.
      The total thickness dimensions of these adapters:M54M-M48F adapter(4mm), M54M-M42F adapter(4mm), M54M-M48F-2(10mm).
But when you attach these adapters to your telescope, they will not increase the thickness.(The M54M-M48F-2 will increase 2mm thickness)

But if you wanted to use 2″ filters instead of 1.25 could you?

2″ filter can be used with 2″ EFW.
Sorry we currently do not have special adpaters for 2″ filters to connect with ASI1600.
2″ filter provides M48.5*0.75 male thread. You may need to figure out how to connect with other adapters.

Hi Katherine. Credit to your company for coming out with a nice simple 2″ set of filter-wheels at such a good price!
We are interested in designing these into some remote astro cameras and other instruments we are designing. But I see the 5 station units are on backorder so I can’t just buy one.
Would it be possible to get access to 3D CAD data in STEP format for the mechanical parts please? We are going to be working with one F2 system with very high requirements for imaging train stiffness using special filters, and we’d like to do some FEA studies of deflections of your wheel under load. We’d be happy to share these results with ZWO if you are interested.
    Thanks
    Tony Owens

One side is fixed with screws you said, but the screws don’t work for the asi294mc pro, so i use the thread. Both sides have threads…. the telescope side also has threads where i connect the spacers and comacorrector. So how do i fix that side with screws if you don’t own an OAG? Since the adapter rings turn freely in the thread on the telescope side?

      :

      Sorry about that.
Yes there is thread on both side. You will need a adapter that converts M54 to M42.
Also you can choose 36mm filter for ASI294MC Pro.

On the camera side the camera stops when it hits the filterwheel, but how about the other side? My adapter rings (on a T2-T2 ring) and spacers can turn freely until inside the filterwheel. How do i stop it from fully inserting in the filterwheel?

    Cheers,
    Michel
