What size of sensor (mm) in the guide camera can be illuminated by the OAG? even the 11.3 x 7.1 mm of the ASI174?

How much does the OAG weigh? I looked in the description, specification and the Q&A and could not find this information. Trying to calculate the weight of my imaging equipment v. my visual equipment for balance and mount loading concerns. Thanks.

Hi. I plan to use this with a skywatcher esprit 100 with the flattner. Would this work with the filter drawer and the zwo 294 mc pro? And is there enough thread that goes into the oag to support the whole thing?

    Thanks

I am happy to use a ASI1600GT with my refractor scope. Now I would like to replace my guiding scope with an OAG. Could I just position this OAG in front of the 1600GT camera/EAF system and get my ASI120MM guiding cam in focus, possibly with the pelican focuser?

    Regards
    Franz

Is this compatible with an SBIG STF-8300 and SBIG FW-8300 as my main imaging setup? I will be using an ASI290 as my guider. I’ve heard that it might be, but it’s possible I will need an adapter.

We are not sure but you can pay attention to the thread that OAG provides to see if they can be connected.

I’m about to order your ASI120MM-S (mono) and OAG with focuser for use with Meade LX200EMC classic SCT as soon as you answer my questions. No diagonal prism will be used. From visual back to Focal Reducer to this OAG to Filter wheel to 1600 MM Pro Mono The 120MM-S will sit on the OAG. do I need a focuser for this setup? Your refractor setup example picture does not use a focuser nor a 1.25″ nose piece. Will my LX200SCT be set up different? Will both the imaging camera ASI1600MMPro and guide camera ASI120MM-S be focused together since the LX200 has its own focus knob? Is this a good set up in combination with my LX200? I’ll eagerly await your response so I can order right away. Thank you.

What is the balc focus of your telescope?
Main camera and the guide camera share the same optical train and get focus at the same distance.
You can calculate the back focus of main camera to calculate whether the guide camera will get focus at this situation.
