Hi Jerome, yes additional fees apply to EU customers. And sorry I am not able to provide a good estimate for the delivery time at this point as there is a substantial queue of pre-orders. However, I assure you that production is expected to catch up after August, which will help expedite the delivery process. Thank you for your understanding.

Can you supply the specs for the tripod? I’m building a box for the SeeStar I ordered, and need to know the folded dimensions. Also, can you provide the extended dimensions? Finally, as far as I can tell, your top-of-the-line tripod is the TC40. The TC40 looks like overkill for the SeeStar. Can you elaborate on the tripod that is included with the SeeStar?

What is the longest exposure you can take with the SeeStar? can you set it up in EQ mode?

      :

In stargazing mode, the exposure time at the preview screen is 0.5 seconds per frame. It turns to 10 seconds per frame at the actual shooting stage. Due to limitations of machine performance and field rotation coming with the Alt-azimuth mount, the current exposure duration is restricted to 10 seconds per frame. In scenery mode, exposure time and gain are set automatically based on image brightness. Maximum exposure time is 33ms.

Do you plan to add any accessories to help with humidity over 60%? It’s unusual for it to be below 60% in the UK (certainly in the North anyway) so that could limit your market considerably if there is no solution.

      :

The Seestar S50 is equipped with a dew shield, allowing it to be used effectively even in areas with humidity reaching up to 100%. The telescope is a precision instrument and it is not recommended to store it in high humidity environments. Using or storing the telescope in a moist environment can pose a greater risk, such as mold on the lens and potential water damage. It’s important to note that mold growth, water damage, and similar issues are not covered under the warranty. Therefore, it is advised to exercise caution and avoid exposing the telescope to excessive moisture.

Hello, I can’t wait to see this exciting new scope. My order is placed with my local retailer. One question – is there any type of internal Dew heater protection? Where I live, it gets pretty wet and Dew protection is important. Thanks!
