Finally, it has a guider port. To use it as a guider, I just plug it to my mount, right? Does the package include a cable ? Thanks

    • Sam Wen

      :

yes, it include the ST4 cable

  2. :

Can I put the camera in the same place as my eyepiece on my ETX-90?

    • Sam Wen

      :

yes, just replace your eyepiece and adjust focus inside 1-2cm

  3. :

Will this attach and focus on one of your guidescopes and can I use it as an Autoguider on my Celestron Nexstar 8SE using the ST-4 cable plugged directly into the scope mount?

    • Sam Wen

      :

      yes, you are correct

  4. :

Is this compatible with celestron lcm 114 computerised altaz mount

    • Sam Wen

      :

      if it has 1.25″ focus

  5. :

    Are the asi034 & asi120mc compatible with windows 7?

    • Sam Wen

      :

      of course, all windows platform

  6. :

Is that true that the ALL USB 2.0 cameras are NOT compatible with AMD chip. I have a plan to buy the USB 2.0 model. Unfortunately, I ‘m using the HP laptop with AMD chip.

    • Sam Wen

      :

some AMD PC may have this problem, but not every AMD PC

  7. :

Will this camera perform better on my 5″ Newton telescope than asi120mc? I calculated that the pictures of planets will be bigger and will have a better resolving power than with asi120mc. Could this be possible?

    • Sam Wen

      :

yes, the pixel size of 034 is bigger, so 120MC will be a better choice

  8. :

Is ASI034MC compatible with Windows 10?

    • Sam Wen

      :

      yes

  9. :

Would this be suitable as a guide camera on a 50mm guide scope ?

    Thanks

    • Sam Wen

      :

yes, you can use it as a guide camera

  10. :

Does this cam work with PHD for guiding Star adventurer Mount via ST4, using 70mm travel mate @400mm?

    • Sam Wen

      :

      yes, it has Guide port

  11. :

Just received the 290MM, intended for planetary. Believe it could be used as a guider as well. But since I will be using two scopes at the same time, I think I should have another cam dedicated for the off-axis guider on a DSO-imager.
Would the 034 be just as good as any, or should I choose another cam for the very best guiding performance?

    • Sam Wen

      :

I think 034 can do this job, but 120mm maybe a litter better as it’s mono cam

  12. :

I am interested in either the 034MC or 120MC as my guide camera, but don’t know how to compare which is more suitable? I will use a 50mm guidescope with a 200mm aperture x 1000mm focal length Newtonian. Will there be any important performance difference, considering my setup? Will both do the job equally well? Other considerations?
    Thanks for your help.

    • Sam Wen

      :

I think 120MM is better for guiding
      mono version is more sensetive

  13. :

Is it suitable for beginner’s deep sky?
    Like bright nebulaes, etc?

    • Sam Wen

      :

I think you should choose ASI224 for DSO imaging

  14. :

Hi, what is the size of sensor? I ask in order to compare the diagonal to the focal leght of the ocular.
    Many thanks

    • Sam Wen

      :

      1/3″
